Holidaymakers will be captivated by this exceptional winter wonderland at an altitude of around 900 metres above sea level.
The crystal clear waters of the Frauensee, Hüttenmühlsee, Riedener See and Kreckelmooser See lakes of the Nature Park Region of Reutte entice you to good long walks. Your rosy cheeks from the cold are warmed by the gentle rays of the winter sun. The pleasant tranquillity is only broken by the crunch of the snow under your feet and the merry laughter of a group of children during their games in the snow.
The Nature Park Region of Reutte offers a whole range of winter activities. The contrast between mountains and valleys, streams and lakes, meadows and forests combined with country charm and urban flair invite many families as well as the active and the more sedate holidaymaker to a stay in the Nature Park Region of Reutte. Whether before or after a long hike – in winter too the numerous mountain huts invite their guests to drop in to enjoy food and drink. The visitor will enjoy Tyrolean hospitality and culinary specialities while warming himself in front of the crackling open fire in the cosy Tyrolean-style lounge.
The Ehrenberg Alpine Spa promises a special kind of relaxation. Soothing herbal aromas, refreshing infusions with sea salt and relaxing music enable the guest to immerse himself in a world full of spiritual harmony and physical well-being.
The Ehrenberg Alpine Spa is only one of the numerous activities where the guest of the Nature Park Region of Reutte can enjoy special reductions when using the free Active Guest Card. Our guests can profit from this card and its many free and reduced price activities from the first night they stay in the region – as for example the entrance to the Museum of the Ehrenberg World of Castles, a number of guided hiking tours and a whole lot more – in winter and in summer.
In summer the gentle hills and mountain peaks invite you to take part in hiking tours of all levels of difficulty. The highline179, the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in Tibetan style in the world, offers both in winter and in summer an attraction for the more daring among our guests! At a height of 115 metres the adventurous can test their head for heights on the 406 metre length of the bridge.
